Stainless Steel Cleaning and Care

Stainless Steel Cleaning and Care

With just a few easy steps, you can keep your stainless steel pieces looking and performing their best for years to come. Allow us to show you the way!

Here are our easy rules to follow to ensure a perfect pan, for life.

1. Wash.

Handwashing is always best. Although our stainless steel is perfectly suitable to wash in the dishwasher, handwashing is always preferred. It will preserve the life of your pieces for a lifetime to come. You should always allow pans to cool naturally before cleaning rather that flash cooling them so as to avoid warping or corrosion.

2. The sticky bits.

For stuck-on or scorched food, scrub off what you can with a non-abrasive sponge, fill the pot with soapy water and bring to a boil. Then scrape the bits away with a wooden spoon, simmer until the vast majority of the bits have released. Let it cool and wash and dry as usual.

3. Dry.

Hand dry right away. This is the best way to avoid water damage and corrosion.

4. Store with a little thought.

Cookware lives its best life with a little cushion. If stacking, simply store pans with a microfiber cloth, paper towel or any soft spacer to avoid scratching the surface. This is especially true of non-stick surfaces to maintain that coveted non-stick finish.

Just four easy steps to ensure that your stainless steel pieces have a life well lived. Now go! Cook!
